Team Baroque. Oh, how I love it. Themes of a regal time, one of sophistication. It’s not a secret that I LOVE time period pieces and dramas of the 1800s. Think: The Tudors. Oh, how I love it. I know right? The black girl that loves house music, and time period situations a la Tudors. Truly one of a kind.

Of course, I’m rocking yet another bodycon (honestly though, they’re my favourite – besides, it was only $19 !!! You can’t beat that!). Oh dear, I hope I’m not boring you all. 😉

PS – Looking to try out a time-period drama? I love this one. Thank me later.

When you find something that works — do it. This is how I feel about bodycon dresses.

[Dress: ASOS (New Look) / Hoisery: HUE / Wedges: Shoedazzle / Oversized Clutch: Forever21 (SO cheap right now!) / Armparty: Michael Kors x Aldo x Sira & Mara / Sunnies: Nine West (old)/ Moto Gloves: Danier (old; but they’re got these!)]

I love bodycon dresses as you can tell. I think that they almost always look good – whether you’re a sub-size-zero – or the highest end of plus size. They emphasize the best part of a woman’s natural curves. I didn’t always feel this comfortable wearing such fitted clothes – but for the past year bodycon dresses have realllly been doing it for me. I want every girl to get one. At least one. It will change your life – ha! You can go all out – and wear it as is with killer heels, or, you can blazer it up if you want to soften the look. I scored this New Look dress from ASOS (for a steal, of course!) – which my friends, and readers alike – already know is my ultimate go-to for an outfit.

What do you think of bodycon dresses? I wanna know! Dish for  your girrrrrl.

PS – T H I S   is what I’m listening to this week!!!
